It's a question that comes up time and time again:
How do you trash the preferences in Final Cut Pro X ?
The answer is easy:
Don't worry about existing Libraries or Export Destinations, these will be unaffected. We would recommend toggling the background render time to something more reasonable from 0.3 up to 7 seconds for example.
So why should you need to trash your preferences?
It is the first thing you should try when FCPX starts to behave badly. A restart of your Mac is a good idea too.
Please do both before you contact us if you come across a problem with one of our plugins. We are not saying you are wrong, it's just that this quick tip fixes a lot of problems that we see!
